Multi Skilled Engineer

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE11 3SA

Salary: Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

Hours: Mon – Fri, 7am – 5pm

Our client is one of the leading suppliers of water pumps & industrial pumps.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced and dedicated engineer to work alongside their experienced team working on a variation of projects, installs, service & repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Engineers or on your own to get the job done to their high standards.
  • Work closely with the Managers to ensure that jobs get done in a timely manner and good communication to the progress and status of your jobs
  • Perform regular installs & planned service work to a huge variety of pumping applications
  • Be an advocate for the company's health and safety policy within the workshop and on site
  • Ensure Jobs are completed to a very high standard to meet company requirements.
  • Lead by example.
  • Competently and accurately complete the required job paperwork

The role will include some working & staying away on projects.

Overtime is available.

  • Open minded to learn different aspects of the role
  • Confident working on their own and as part of a team
  • Self-driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Problem solving skills to identify the root cause of an issue and ability to resolve
  • Flexible working approach and ability to adapt to change
  • Experienced mechanical and electrical control engineer
  • Proven qualification and experience
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels
