Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Supply Chain Compliance Technologist to join their business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Oversee supplier due diligence for technical, ethical, and environmental compliance, ensuring all trackers and approvals are up to date and in line with requirements.
* Support the Supply Chain Compliance Manager with managing supplier pesticide plans, maintaining testing schedules, and coordinating laboratory testing.
* Attend monthly supplier management meetings, populate reports and scorecards, and contribute to supplier performance reviews.
* Ensure all customer due diligence is accurately reported and submitted using appropriate portals.
* Maintain supplier approval and pesticide systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information across platforms.
* Generate weekly and monthly reports on technical and ethical KPIs, keeping the team informed of performance metrics.
* Participate in traceability exercises, internal audits, and assist with 2nd and 3rd party site audits as needed.
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of supplier approval and pesticide management systems, maintaining relevant procedures and SOPs.
* Work closely with Technologists to address compliance gaps, ensuring all ethical audits and SAQs are up-to-date.
* Manage annual approvals for fruit basket and packaging suppliers, ensuring compliance with all standards
About you:
* Experience in a similar role within fresh produce or food manufacturing is required
