We are seeking a proactive and experienced Tax Manager to join a dynamic team. This role involves advising clients on key tax areas including income and capital gains tax planning, trusts, succession, share options, and residency issues. The successful candidate will take primary responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients and lead the tax advisory team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Advise clients on a range of complex tax matters including income and capital gains tax planning, trusts, succession planning, share options, and residency issues.
  • Take primary responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead the tax advisory team, coordinating effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Manage and report on KPIs related to the tax team, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with resident Partners on key client strategies and on the overall development of the tax advisory department, including marketing and networking initiatives across the organisation’s five offices.
  • Mentor and train staff as required, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role, with a strong background in tax advisory.
  • Expert knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to mentor and train staff, enhancing team capabilities and performance.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
