Teaching Assistant

Location: Spalding
Salary: £85 - £95 per day
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a reputable secondary school in Spalding. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support student learning and contribute to a school's success.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting student learning.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support students with special educational needs in accessing the curriculum.
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements:

Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
