We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Support & Service Technician to join a dynamic team. The role is ideal for someone who is eager to provide first-class technical support to a diverse range of businesses, including government, defence, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational organisations. The successful candidate must hold a Full UK Driver’s License and be prepared for national travel with occasional overnight stays.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide both remote and field-based technical and service support to end users and installers.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues with hardware, software, and web-based client software.
- Deliver remote systems training as required.
- Recreate and troubleshoot issues using test equipment, including hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues through detailed analysis of system-generated log files.
- Work closely with development and engineering teams, raising software bug tickets and detailing investigations and findings.
- Experience with technical systems such as electronics, IT, telecoms, or security systems.
- Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel nationally, including by vehicle, train, or plane, with overnight stays as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Polite, patient, outgoing, and strong communication skills.
- Experience in providing customer service.
