Paralegal – Spalding My client is a Legal 200 ranked, multiservice firm based in Spalding. It is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to gain exposure to high-quality work and further their expertise in litigation. You will support the firm’s litigation team in managing a diverse caseload and ensuring the smooth progression of cases from inception to resolution.

The Role:

  • Assisting solicitors with the day-to-day management of litigation cases, including commercial disputes, property disputes, debt recovery and other civil matters
  • Conducting legal research and preparing summaries to support case strategies
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including court forms, witness statements and correspondence
  • Managing disclosure processes, organising evidence and preparing court bundles
  • Liaising with clients, witnesses and third parties to gather information and provide updates on case progress
  • Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules
  • Maintaining accurate and organised case files using the firm’s case management system
  • Providing administrative support to the litigation team, including scheduling meetings and hearings

About You:

  • Previous experience within a litigation team
  • A solid understanding of court procedures and civil litigation processes
  • Strong drafting and research skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Ambitious to work within a top ranked firm
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office
  • A law degree, LPC or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
