Are you a motivated and skilled Warehouse Supervisor looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, chilled environment? Join our client's team as they are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in their spacious and bustling warehouse located in Spalding.

At our client's facility, you'll have the opportunity to lead a diverse and cross-generational workforce, ensuring operational flow and productivity while maintaining high health and safety standards. If you're confident in managing a team, possess a valid PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence (Desirable), and have a proven track record of running efficient and productive shifts, then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage warehouse staff during 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm), maintaining operational flow and productivity.
  • Supervise a diverse, cross-generational workforce, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Operate and oversee the use of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in daily warehouse tasks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining stock integrity.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring targets are met.
  • Quickly and effectively address operational issues or breakdowns, minimising disruption.
  • Provide coaching, support, and training to team members, fostering a positive work culture.
  • Act as the key point of contact between warehouse operatives and senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role where you think your ready to take the next step in your career.
  • Valid PPT Licence and strong experience in operating pallet trucks. (Desirable)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including stock control and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
  • Competency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

  • Chilled environment (cold storage).
  • 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off (6am to 6pm).
  • Physical role requiring manual handling and the use of warehouse equipment.
