I'm currently supporting a site looking for a forward-thinking Maintenance Engineer. You'd join part of an experienced team within a busy and stable manufacturing facility as part of the night team.
A typical day will consist of completing planned and preventative maintenance across the site, crossing into the world of continuous improvements and reliability to drive the team forward. As expected, a key importance is addressing reactive maintenance ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum, But, as an experienced Maintenance Engineer, this won't be anything you're not used to!
What you need:
A recognised Engineering Qualification, equivalent to a HNC/HND/ONC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or be a time-served apprentice
Experience working within a fast-paced Food or FMCG Manufacturing environment
A good eye for continuous improvement
Good knowledge and understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical repairs
