Maintenance Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in maintaining and improving our industrial machinery and systems. Role Overview:As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of machinery and equipment in our industrial facility. Working as part of a skilled team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and minimising downtime. This is a days-based position, offering a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to avoid production interruptions.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure timely and efficient equipment availability.
  • Implement improvements to machinery and processes to increase reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and log all completed work.
  • Support project work for upgrades or new installations as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical, and/or hydraulic fault-finding skills.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
