The company:You will be joining a well-known food manufacturing company with continuous growth plans in 2025! Due to growth and continuous production improvements, there is now a need for a Shift Engineer to join a Sunday-Thursday shift pattern. The ideal candidate would be multi-skilled, but Electrically biased professionals shall be considered also.Job responsibilities:
- Identify faults, and carry out repairs following breakdowns, PPM's or site work.
- Make sure all PPM schedules are completed
- Complete maintenance paperwork on time and to required standards
- Work alongside the production team to understand and work out maintenance requirements alongside production needs.
- Work to required health and safety procedures
This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an FMCG/Food environment
- Mechanical or Electrical City & Guilds Level 3 or similar
- 18th Edition
- Fault-finding skills
- Understanding of machine controls-experience with PLC's is highly desirable
- Experience with Flow Wrappers
