The company:You will be joining a well-known food manufacturing company with continuous growth plans in 2025! Due to growth and continuous production improvements, there is now a need for a Shift Engineer to join a Sunday-Thursday shift pattern. The ideal candidate would be multi-skilled, but Electrically biased professionals shall be considered also.Job responsibilities:

  • Identify faults, and carry out repairs following breakdowns, PPM's or site work.
  • Make sure all PPM schedules are completed
  • Complete maintenance paperwork on time and to required standards
  • Work alongside the production team to understand and work out maintenance requirements alongside production needs.
  • Work to required health and safety procedures

This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an FMCG/Food environment
  • Mechanical or Electrical City & Guilds Level 3 or similar
  • 18th Edition
  • Fault-finding skills
  • Understanding of machine controls-experience with PLC's is highly desirable
  • Experience with Flow Wrappers
