Our successful and growing FMCG client based in the Spalding area are looking to recruit a Technical Manager on a fulltime permanent basis. Our client who are in the fresh produce industry are looking for a Head of Technical/Technical manager. Our client Supply’s their product into the major Multiples and food processors.

Job role as a Technical Manager: -

  • Responsible for ensuring full compliance to all food safety and legal requirements, providing and monitoring a robust system with full traceability.
  • Managing a small team
  • Responsible for promoting and developing best practice through continuous improvement
  • Be customer facing
  • Occasional travel to conduct supplier audits (maybe twice a year)
  • Plan and monitor Technical KPIs, reviewing trends and taking the appropriate action
  • Detailed understanding of retailer audits and the BRC audit process.
  • Trend and analyse data to continue driving business in the agreed direction
  • Work on technical related projects for the business.

To be considered for the role of Technical Manager you will have worked within the Produce Industry and have worked as a Technical manager. This role would also suit someone looking to step up to the head of Role.

Salary is up to £60,000 plus car allowance plus 8% pension plus other benefits. This role is a site-based role but occasional working from home could be considered but it will not be a regular occurrence.
