Are you an experienced QA working within fresh produce? If so, we want to hear from you.

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Auditor to join the team in Spalding. In this crucial role, you will ensure that all products consistently meet the high standards expected by their customers. Working on a continental day shift pattern 6am - 6pm, you'll play a vital part in minimising waste and maintaining our reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality checks and positive releases to ensure all products meet customer specifications.
  • Monitor production lines, identify, and resolve quality issues to reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate quality control records and perform shelf-life assessments.
  • Oversee adherence to packhouse procedures and ensure label accuracy.
  • Assist in training staff on product grading procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits on equipment calibration, hygiene, HACCP, and food safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a food production environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques in fresh produce.
  • Experience in conducting audits and inspections is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving quality issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
