We are seeking a dedicated Business Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Spalding. This is a temporary full-time position with the potential to extend beyond Christmas. The role involves planning, marking, and attending parent meetings. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), although this is not essential, but must have UK business teaching experience.
Day to Day of the Role:- Delivering Business Studies lessons to secondary school students in line with the curriculum.
- Planning and preparing engaging and informative lessons that cater to all students.
- Marking and providing constructive feedback on students’ work.
- Attending and contributing to parent meetings to discuss student progress.
- Monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students.
- Managing student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
- Participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.
- UK business teaching experience.
- QTS is ideal but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Business Studies.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students, parents, and colleagues.
