We are seeking a dedicated Business Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Spalding. This is a temporary full-time position with the potential to extend beyond Christmas. The role involves planning, marking, and attending parent meetings. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), although this is not essential, but must have UK business teaching experience.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Delivering Business Studies lessons to secondary school students in line with the curriculum.
  • Planning and preparing engaging and informative lessons that cater to all students.
  • Marking and providing constructive feedback on students’ work.
  • Attending and contributing to parent meetings to discuss student progress.
  • Monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students.
  • Managing student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • UK business teaching experience.
  • QTS is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Business Studies.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students, parents, and colleagues.
