Our client is a leading player in the Fresh Produce Industry and are looking to add a Junior Maintenance Engineer to their site team based in Spalding.
As a Junior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues.
* Assisting in troubleshooting and repairing machinery breakdowns.
* Participating in preventive maintenance activities.
* Collaborating with senior engineers to implement maintenance best practices.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
* Complying with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
* Assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the site and facilities.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
* Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
