Role: Senior Residential Support Worker Childrens Homes

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire

Salary: £27,580 - £28,797 per annum (£13.60 - £14.20 per hour), plus an additional £3,000 - £6,000 per annum for sleep-ins (4-8 sleep-ins per month at £62.64 each).

Hours: Full-time, long day shifts plus sleep-ins

Full UK Driving Licence Required

About the Role:

As a Senior Therapeutic Support Worker, you will be a key member of our team, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting young people in their personal development and well-being

Leading and managing a team to provide high-quality therapeutic care

Assisting the Service Manager in day-to-day operations

Developing and implementing care plans, maintaining records, and reporting progress

Acting as a positive role model for both colleagues and children

Building trusting relationships that foster growth, recovery, and lasting change

What Were Looking For:

A minimum of 12 months' experience in residential childcare

A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (recognised in your pay rate)

Knowledge of therapeutic, child-centred models of care

Strong communication skills, a caring nature, and resilience

Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins

Ability to connect with children and young people, sharing interests such as the outdoors, animals, or shopping
