We are seeking a dedicated Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join an expanding organisation.

  • Salary: 27,580 - 28,797 (plus sleep in allowance)
  • Hours: Full-time long day shifts plus sleep-ins

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the team to foster and advocate for the positive development of the young individuals in your care, cultivating a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day management, supporting the Service Manager in delivering the best quality care.
  • Lead a team along with other professionals to provide the therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain detailed records, including event logs, progress reports and care plans, to ensure comprehensive documentation.
  • Serve as a positive role model for colleagues and children alike, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust to facilitate recovery, growth, and lasting positive change.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience
  • Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Flexibility to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleeps.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence.
