Node.js Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to be based in their Spalding, Lincolnshire office.As a developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications. You will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build enterprise systems.

Desirable/ Core Skills:

• 5+ years of programming experience• 3+ years Node.js developer, including at least 3 years commercial experience using Node.js, with background in any e-commerce platform• HTML / CSS / JS• JavaScript (including jQuery and other libs/frameworks)• Deploying code (sonar cube desirable)• Bitbucket • Good knowledge of security when working with Rest API’s• Old tech for legacy systems• React• Jenkins• Umbraco or similar open-source CMS experience• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology• Knowledge of C#• Knowledge of Oracle applications• Drive and have access to a car

Responsibilities:

• Analysing system requirements• Writing scalable code for software applications.• Reviewing and debugging. applications.• Providing technical support for junior developers.• Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications.
