Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and renewable energy projects. The role of a Senior Electrical Engineer involves reviewing designs, specifying major power requirements, and ensuring seamless integration with the grid.
You will play a key role in overseeing electrical installations across multiple sites, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Electrical Engineer
- Review, refine, and specify power distribution and FEED designs for AD facilities.
- Oversee grid connection processes, liaising with DNOs and transmission operators.
- Manage 11kV power transmission and design LV distribution systems for AD plants.
- Provide hands-on site supervision to ensure smooth installation and resolve any technical issues.
- Lead electrical design for new builds and upgrades, including gas injection hubs.
- Work across multiple locations UK Wide
Requirements
- Strong background in power distribution, transmission, and LV system design.
- Experience in grid connections and liaising with DNOs for power infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas, or wastewater (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to travel to multiple sites across the UK.
