The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our team in Reading. This role will involve working on various projects, installing electrical systems to the highest standards, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical installations on a range of commercial sites as this is a static role.
- Installing electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and panels.
- Ensuring all electrical installations meet safety standards and are compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues during installation.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conducting testing and inspection of installed systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Maintaining accurate records of installations and providing reports as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical installation work.
- Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work across various sites as needed.
- 18th Edition
- Able to use tray work, 20mm and 25mm PVC or Galv pipe.
