Sonic Summary

We are recruiting 7.5t Delivery Drivers for our client in Spennymoor on a part-time, ad hoc basis with immediate starts available.
Drivers will work as part of a two-person team, assisting with deliveries and potentially assembling products at customers' homes.
Candidates must have a UK driving licence Cat C1, a valid drivers CPC DQ card, and previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t vehicle.
The hourly rate for this position is £13.95, with shifts available Monday to Friday during the day.
A DBS check will be processed due to the nature of the work, which involves entering customers' houses.

We are currently recruiting for 7.5t Delivery Drivers for our client based in Spennymoor on an ad hoc / part time basis with an immediate start!

As part of a two-person delivery team the Drivers will assist with deliveries and may help to assemble the products at our customers homes.

The role will include:

Completing deliveries on time, to schedule and most importantly ensuring customers are left happy
Being friendly and helpful throughout
Keeping customers informed by calling ahead
Delivering and assembling furniture
Supporting an environment and culture where the Customer is firmly at the centre of everything that we do
Monitoring vehicle roadworthiness and reporting any defects

Skills and Driving Licence Requirements:

A UK driving licence Cat C1
Valid drivers CPC DQ card / valid drivers digital card
Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t vehicle
Previous experience and understanding of using digital tachographs
Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experience
A DBS will be processed due to entering customer's houses
Desirable experience of using a PDA

Hourly Rate: £13.95
Shifts: Monday to Friday Day shifts (Ad Hoc)
