- MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Spennymoor area.
The Job Youll Do;
- Daily use of jigs / templates along with basic fabrication knowledge
- Knowledge and experience with basic engineering drawings
- Able to interpret drawings to products
- Significant experience as a fabricator
- Working with a range of materials including mild and stainless steel
- Using various tools to cut steel to meet specifications
- Prepping metalwork for welds
- Dressing and grinding of welds
- Daily PPMs (Machine check sheets)
- Daily 5s activities and good housekeeping
About you.
- NVQ level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification required.
- Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard.
- Working either independently or within a team.
- Achieve team objectives.
- Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
- Physically fit as some products are heavy.
