We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Finisher to join our team on a contract basis for a housing project in Spennymoor. You will be responsible for completing essential snagging work, patching, and painting to ensure the houses are ready for completion to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Patching and repairing minor defects on walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Applying paint and wallpaper to walls, ceilings, and trim.
- Performing touch-ups and minor repairs to ensure a clean and finished look.
- General cleanup and preparation for final inspections.
- Ensure work meets high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finisher with a strong understanding of various finishing techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the trade.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work.
