We are hiring for Warehouse Operatives to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling work in Spennymoor. Join our friendly warehouse team that handles a high volume of customer orders for a furniture company. You will be an essential part of our team, helping to load and offload containers and allocate stock efficiently.
Duties of a Warehouse Operative:
- Move boxes and furniture items
- Assist with loading and offloading containers
- Allocate stock for distribution
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Skills and experience of a Warehouse Operative: As a Warehouse Operative, you need to have experience with:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently
It would be beneficial to the Warehouse Operative role if you also had:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Access to reliable transport to commute to the client's site
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
About the Client:
Our client is a furniture company that distributes a wide range of flat-pack bulky items. They are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent roles for the right candidates.
