Job Title: Health and Safety Consultant

Location: WV11

Salary: Up to £55k (DOE)

Working Hours: 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday

The Health and Safety Consultant will be key in providing professional health and safety services to our varied clients. This role includes offering expert advice, performing detailed assessments, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Main duties and responsibilities as Health and Safety Consultant:

  • Perform thorough health and safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Guide clients on meeting health and safety laws, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on health and safety practices.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, delivering detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Health and Safety Consultant must be updated on industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure continuous compliance and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing support and guidance.

The Key requirements as Health and Safety Consultant:

  • Proven background in health, safety, and environmental management from either a large construction indsutry or consultancy background.
  • Level 6 or equivalent NEBOSH qualification.
  • Health and Safety Consultant must have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
