Tennial Personnel are looking for skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our client's team in Ipswich. This position works Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm on a temporary to permanent basis (if a 12 week period is successfully completed, a permanent contract may be offered). In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring and inspecting electronic and mechanical products on an assembly line. Your work will ensure products are built to the highest standards and meet all quality and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
Carry out mechanical assembly, cable preparation and conformal coating
Perform manual soldering of components and assembly of wiring and connectors
Inspect surface mount assemblies for defects and rectifty any issues
Identify and dispose of defective items to maintain quality standards
Complete required documentation and reports accurately and on time
Skills Required
Experience in cable preparation, wiring and assembling connectors
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Strong soldering skills and attention to detail
Qualifications Required
Experience in an electronics or mechanical assembly environment
