We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to take the lead at this new store opening inApril 2025. What We Need from You:

We’re looking for someone with builders’ merchant experience – your product knowledge and market expertise will be crucial to the success of the role. Strong communication skills, a natural ability to set goals, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations efficiently are key. Role Overview:

As Branch Manager, you will lead a team to ensure the branch runs smoothly and achieves success across multiple areas. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, managing stock, ensuring excellent customer service, and overseeing operational processes. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new location, while ensuring an outstanding experience for both customers and staff.

Hours: 44.75 hours per week (shifts between 6:30 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday, with alternate Saturdays from 7 am to 4 pm).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Profit & Loss Management

  • Oversee the branch’s sales, margins, and overheads to exceed targets.
  • Drive financial performance and deliver excellent results.

2. Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage a motivated team.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure company goals are met.

3. Sales & Customer Service

  • Manage sales initiatives to grow market share and increase profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Lead your team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.

4. Stock Management

  • Ensure inventory levels are maintained, and stock is readily available.
  • Implement effective stock control and procurement processes.

5. Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for staff and customers.
