We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join the business in a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for effectively managing the commercial aspects ofa number of exciting projects. Youll play a crucial role in managing costs, ensuring value for money, and supporting the overall project lifecycle from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management:Prepare procurement schedules noting key dates, provide detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents to ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Subcontractor Liaison:Manage subcontractor accounts, including negotiating contracts, handling valuations, and processing payments.

Financial Reporting:Provide accurate and timely financial reports such as CVRs, forecast final costs, and cost analysis to support project decision-making with Commercial Director

Risk Management:Identify and mitigate potential project financial risks, ensuring projects stay within budget and meet financial targets.

Final Accounts:Lead the preparation of final accounts, including the resolution of contractual claims and the settlement of costs. Identify changes/variations ensuring relevant instructions are processed and valued accordingly.

Collaboration:Work closely with Contracts managers, Site Managers, Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful project delivery. Collaboratively monitor progress of the project for efficiency, waste, performance and careful expenditure. Build strong relationships with all colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of the project.

Skills & Experience we are looking for:

Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction or property development industry

Hold a relevant industry qualifications (Level 4 or higher)

Strong people management & relationship building skills

Excellent communication & organisation skills

Highly proficient in using all Microsoft packages

Excellent written/numerical skills with a high attention to detail

Excellent time management skills

Full UK driving licence
