About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at OES, based in St Asaph, North Wales, covering North Wales and Cheshire. This is a new business role focused on generating opportunities across North Wales and Cheshire. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in building rapport with key decision-makers, developing pipelines, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities from a list of prospects
  • Generate leads by cold calling, canvassing, and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Set own appointments
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive pipeline development and achieve sales targets
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to align growth activities with company goals

Customer Engagement:

  • Confidently engage with clients over the phone, presenting products and services clearly and effectively
  • Listen to customer needs and ask insightful questions to identify solutions
  • Provide excellent customer service by managing client inquiries and following through on commitments

About you:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year of B2B experience in business development
  • Experience in securing sales and generating appointments
  • Previous experience in the telecoms industry
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen and ask insightful questions
  • Self-motivated, focused, and target-driven with a positive attitude
  • Confident in speaking with people over the phone/teams and building relationships
