Arrow Lifts Ltd is looking for a field service engineer to undertake servicing and maintenance work on a range of lifting equipment which would include, stairlifts, patient hoists, ceiling track hoists, passenger lifts and goods lifts all from a variety of manufacturers and suppliers.

They would be required to travel throughout Cornwall and Devon on a day-to-day basis visiting client sites/properties.

The successful applicant would also be involved in undertaking repairs and the installation of new or replacement equipment. The engineer would also be attending breakdowns which will involve diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving scenarios. The role will involve a wide range of engineering tasks, both electrical and mechanical.

  • To carry out all jobs in a safe and thoughtful manner
  • Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance
  • Must be flexible and able to work on our out of hours callout schedule
  • Good time management
  • Carry out and organise servicing and repairs
  • Attend breakdowns, identify & rectify faults
  • Good technical reporting and communication skills
  • Full driving licence
