Key Responsibilities:

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Overseeing day-to-day financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and expense monitoring.
Preparing and presenting accurate, timely financial statements and reports to senior management, enabling informed decision-making.
Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing recommendations for cost-saving and revenue-generating strategies.
Leading the accounting team in maintaining general ledgers, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Developing and managing annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts in alignment with company goals.
Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and policies, preparing for audits, and coordinating with external auditors as necessary.
Identifying and implementing financial process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent certification is required, ensuring a high standard of financial knowledge and ethics.
Demonstrated experience in finance and accounting, with strong financial statement preparation and reporting skills.
Proven ability to analyse complex financial data, identify key insights, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Prior experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable, as familiarity with its unique financial operations will be beneficial.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
Strong team leadership and communication skills to guide the accounting team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
