Production Operative

Location: Outskirts of St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 4:30pm with 2 x paid 15 minute breaks everyday

Hourly Rate / Salary: £12.50 per hour (45 hour paid working week)

Benefits Once Permanent: Holiday Pay, Pension, Quarterly Bonus, Private Healthcare

Our client, a leading manufacturer just outside of St Ives, is on the hunt for Production Operatives to join their busy team. You’ll be hands on with machinery, assembling high-quality products and ensuring everything meets their high quality standards. If you like working in a fast paced environment, love a challenge and don’t mind getting stuck in then this is the Production Operative role for you!

Job Duties:

Lifting of heavy products across the factory to various stations
Use of CNC Machines
Use of hand tools for fitting & fixing finished products together
Use of Power Coating machine
Final inspection of goods
Quality control
Packing orders.

Previous experience with manufacturing desirable
Able to work well within a team
Fast paced to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining professional standards
Have a keen eye for detail
Able to take own initiative
Be punctual
