Junior Health and Safety Officer

They are seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety and Compliance Officer who is passionate to grow and develop their skill set with the company and be committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all their employees.
The key responsibilities for the Junior Health & Safety Officer:
- Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices.
- Performance monitoring and compliance.
- Collating statistical information for health and safety management.
- Evidence compliance within auditing.
- Undertake inspections on site and working at heights.
- Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets.
- Development of a robust management system and assisting the directors finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward and supporting the Senior Staff to Lead the H&S initiatives.
Skills required for the Junior Health & Safety Officer:
- Some experience or formal qualifications within Health & Safety.
- Keen to learn, willing to ask questions, conscientious and motivated.
- Team player, great communication skills.
- Calm under pressure in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Working hours for the Junior Health & Safety Officer:
Monday to Friday 37 hour per week.
