Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000

What our client offers:
- Design 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks.
- Create manufacturing drawing packs, including BOMs, laser profiles, and works orders.
- Conduct Design Risk Assessments for all designs.
- Create 3D block layouts and amend 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams for design reviews and approvals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to high-quality standards and are aligned with product specifications.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D is essential.
- Previous experience in a Design Engineer role, preferably within a fabrication environment.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to design challenges.
- Strong communication skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
