Our client, a leader in advanced food production line solutions with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking a skilledProject Engineerto join their growing team. They provide cutting-edge equipment and after-sales care to major food producers globally.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales team and customers, managing projects from concept to customer approval. You will oversee the design, manufacture, installation, and closure stages of projects, ensuring that each is delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D Block Layout models in SolidWorks and present them to customers for approval.
  • Work with the Sales Team to secure additional sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to produce models and drawings that meet legal requirements and customer specifications.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain technical documentation.
  • Specify mechanical components and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle from handover to installation and closure.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Third-level qualification in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role.
  • Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic controls, sheet metal fabrication, and the food industry is a plus.
  • Hands-on engineering experience and commercial acumen are advantageous.
