Job Description

Quality Control Manager

The Company

A leading manufacturing company of gas amalyzers and supporting equipment.

The Role

This is a senior office-based role reporting to the Production Manager and working closely with the Production Manger. Our client is an ISO9001 quailty managed organisation audited by the British Standards. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the Quality Management System and ensuring that processes and manufactured products fully comply with and always exceed demanding customer expectations.

The work will include the following:

Participate in senior management reviews, directly influencing the business plan and key performance indicators.

Manage the QC team: one QC Assistant and a Compliance Manager.

Co-ordinate our external audits with BSI

Organise and perform our internal auditing of each separate business area

Continually evolve best working practices and procedures to deliver ISO(Apply online only) certification.

Co-ordinate and support all QA and QC activities within the company and across our worldwide distributor network.

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must

1. 3 years minimum experience as a Quality manager or similar role

2. Qualified ISO internal auditor (training can be done)

3. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.

4. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

5. Critical thinker with problem-solving skills experienced in 7D analysis
