The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll have the autonomy to lead high-profile projects across the Leisure, Education, Commercial, Student Accommodation, and Infrastructure sectors. With project values up to 30m, you'll manage the full cost management lifecycle, ensuring excellence and value at every stage.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering cost planning, valuations, and cost reporting with precision and clarity.
  • Negotiating with contractors to achieve exceptional value for clients.
  • Acting as an Employers Agent and overseeing contract administration.
  • Building lasting client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

The ideal candidate will bring expertise and enthusiasm to the role:

  • Proven track record in a PQS/Consultancy environment, with MRICS qualification preferred.
  • Confidence in managing projects independently from inception to completion.
  • Expertise in pre- and post-contract services.
  • Experience as an Employers Agent is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across sectors.
