We’re partnering with a reputable food business in their search for a Finance Business Partner
Finance Business Partner to join their Andover office, hybrid 2-3 days a week.
Finance Business Partner - What you'll do:
• Drive Operational efficiency: work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to maintain gross margins and optimise processes.
• Make Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage your advanced Excel skills to design and develop Qlik reports, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Partner with the Business: Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis
• Forecast Future Success: Develop and own financial forecasts for Commercial and Operations, ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Optimise Product Profitability: Accurately apportion factory costs to individual products to maximise profitability.
• Ensure Financial Integrity: Review and analyse sales, marketing, and operational accruals and journals.
• Provide Strategic Insights: compile comprehensive month-end commentary and financial analysis, including price/volume/mix variance, labour cost, and waste analysis
• Support Strategic Planning: Assist with strategic forecasting by producing detailed sales forecasts based on market trends and developments
Finance Business Partner - What you'll need:
• Qualifications: Ideally ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified
• Experience: Experience in the manufacturing or food industry is preferred
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and the ability to extract information from ERP systems
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to handle large volumes of data and identify key trends
