Finance Assistant  

Location: St Neots

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (OFFICE BASED)  

Salary: circa £30,000 per annum depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join this client’s team immediately or at short notice. What your duties will include:

  • Processing invoices and managing expense reports
  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Preparing financial statements and ensuring accurate financial transactions
  • Handling payroll functions, including updates to payroll records
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Managing the HR portal, updating employee records, and handling onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assisting with general office administration and maintenance of office supplies

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in finance or accounting
  • AAT - Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial management
