Your new company
A growing contractor operating across East Anglia, London and the Midlands, working on a variety of projects from New Build to Refurbishments with projects including Schools and Hospitals up to 15m
Your new role
Due to this continued growth and project wins, they are now looking to recruit a Design Manager to join their team. As Design Manager, you will manage the design team and all the processes in relation to producing a set of construction issue deliverables that a building can be built from.
Some duties to include:

  • Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the development of design concepts and project plans.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and quality checks.
  • Strive to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with both customers and all levels of staff
  • Good computer skills, including the use of MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
