A Day in the Life of a Branch Manager

  • Lead daily meetings with the Estate Agency team to discuss goals and strategies

  • Coach and mentor your team to achieve KPIs and personal development

  • Monitor and assess individual performance, including conducting one-to-one meetings

  • Foster a team-oriented and positive working environment

  • Focus on generating new business and maintaining repeat business

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers, and key stakeholders

  • Arrange property viewings and liaise with prospective buyers to ensure a smooth experience

  • Negotiate offers and agree on sales, ensuring client satisfaction

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain the highest business standards

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle

  • Minimum of 2 year's experience in Estate Agency, ideally in a Senior Negotiator, Property Valuer, or higher position

  • Ability to work effectively with others, building a positive and productive team spirit

  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to create and execute business plans tailored to the branch's needs

  • Knowledge of the local market and ability to monitor competitor activity

  • Strong understanding of estate agency legislation and compliance

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to handle high volumes of work

  • A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service

  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work under your own initiative

  • Excellent telephone manner and strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)

  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
