We are pleased to be working with our client seeking a Family Solicitor based in St Neots for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is an award winning law firm with Lexcel accreditation and recognition from the Law Society.
Responsibilities of the Family Solicitor
- Manage a varied caseload of family law matters.
- Work on Private Law, children, divorce and financial matters cases.
- Networking and promotion of business through social media and events.
- Resolve client claims handling settlements or preparing for court.
- Draft, negotiate and review court documents.
- Undertake own advocacy.
Requirements for a successful Family Solicitor
- 5-10 years’ post qualification experience within family law.
- Proven expertise in Private Law, children, divorce and financial matters.
- Accreditation in Family Mediation including MIAMs.
- Excellent commercial awareness with a thorough understanding of the legal market.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Highly organised and willing to undertake own advocacy.
- Commercially minded and forward thinker.
