Job Details
Due to continued growth, expansion and investment, positions are now available for experienced Quality Inspectors with a background in the Precision Engineering sector, able to measure parts and components to tight tolerances, working with various measuring equipment including manual measuring equipment and CMMs for a varied client base.

Duties:
  • Quality Inspection of precision machined parts and components
  • Measuring to tight tolerances using manual measuring equipment and CMMs.
  • Working from Engineering drawings.

Skills & Experience:
  • Able to operate CMMs (Aberlink would be ideal but not essential).
  • Experience of working with manual measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, gauges and calipers.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Working Environment:
  • State-of-the-art subcontract machine shop
  • 40+ on shop floor
  • 8 in the Quality Department
  • Busy, Clean and Tidy
  • Open door policy to their customers

Hours:
  • 41.5hrs er week
  • 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday
  • 8am to 4pm, Friday
  • Lots of Over Time available - standard rate Mon-Fri, x1.5 Saturday and x2 Sunday
