Are you a Quantity Surveyor, with experience working on commercial projects, looking to take the next step in your career to join a successful and rapidly growing specialist engineering company who design, fabricate and install?

On offer is the opportunity to make your mark in this growing business, where you will assist on highly technical engineering projects worth 50,000 - 5 million, working within a small project team.

As a QS with a few years of experience you can join an exciting and modern business with excellent career development and training working on interesting projects in the architectural metalwork space working on bespoke staircases, Balustrade, and balconies.

The Role:

  • Oversee and manage the financial aspects of assigned projects, tracking performance against contractual timelines, and reporting any issues to Project Managers.
  • Submit monthly progress applications for ongoing projects.
  • Review tender allowances and submit variation requests.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop and update spreadsheet analyses regularly.
  • Ensure cost control is upheld throughout the procurement, delivery, and design phases, continuing through to the final account stage.
  • Adopt a commercial mindset to proactively identify and propose cost-saving measures within the business.
  • Generate monthly cost and value forecasts.
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation.
  • Support various day-to-day Quantity Surveying tasks as needed.


The Person:

  • Worked on large commercial projects
  • Quantity Surveyor or similar
  • IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
