Our client, a landscaping company, is looking for a Financial Controller to join its team. The Financial Controller will be expected to be hands-on within the finance function, providing support across the organisation.

Part-time: 2 days per week.

The responsibilities of the Financial Controller include but are not limited to the following:

  • Operate the general ledger.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and time VAT and Intrastat.
  • Support the year-end process and liaise as appropriate.

Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:

  • Experienced Financial Controller, and AAT Qualified.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail orientated and organised.
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and reprioritise to meet deadlines.
