Senior Management Accountant

- Salary: 55k-65k
- Type: Full time, Hybrid (1 day WFH)
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in St. Albans.
Role Purpose
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and develop reliable budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insightful business partnering to support informed decision-making and strategy.
- Oversee capital project controls and reporting to ensure efficient allocation and use of resources.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed monthly management accounts, ensuring financial accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and update budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Serve as a business partner to various departments, offering financial insights and guidance.
- Manage and report on capital projects, tracking budgets and progress effectively.
- Foster effective working relationships with finance team members and other departments.
- Support the implementation of a new finance system to streamline processes.
- Enhance cash management practices and improve financial reporting quality.
Requirements
- Management accounting experience
- Related qualification
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Right to work in the UK
