A luxury company dealing with both private & commercial clients. They are looking require an individual as an Accounts Assistant to join their team to provide support to the Financial Controller.
Job Description:
You will be covering all aspects of the day-to-day accounts reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase ledger (in conjunction with part time support already in place)
- Inputting invoices into accounts software / CRM system
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly payment run by bacs
Sales ledger
- Sales invoicing, retail and contract
- Credit control
- Preparing ad-hoc sales invoices
- Managing IRP (Dealer) invoice processing and credit control
Accounts assistance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparing CIS deduction statements & records for review & submission
- Weekly cash and sales reporting
- Assisting with month end processing & reporting
- Processing employee's business expense claims
- VAT return preparation
- Other ad hoc duties
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate would be a self motivated individual who has the ability to work independently using their own initiative. You should have excellent attention to detail & excel spreadsheet experience is essential. Experience of SAP would be preferable, but not essential for the right candidate and also a team player who is confident communicating with staff, suppliers & clients both by phone, e-mail & in person
Salary and Hours:
The role of accounts assistant based in St. Albans is offering a salary up to £33,500 and the working hours: 9:00AM - 5:30PM with hybrid working included one probation has been complete.
