Job Title: Accounts Assistant Salary: 拢12.82 to 拢13.33 per hour Location: St Albans Contract: Temporary (with the view to go permanent) 聽 Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm with an hour lunch break 聽 Company: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Reconciliation Clerk to join our clients dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will provide full reconciliation support to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA's Conduct Rules and Principles. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong reconciliation and financial experience to contribute to a high-performing team. 聽 Skills & Experience: 路Proven experience in a similar role, processing bank reconciliations 路Strong GCSE qualifications (A-C in English and Maths). 路Intermediate Excel knowledge. 路High attention to detail Key Responsibilities: 路Perform daily bank reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring no overdrafts occur. 路Investigate and resolve reconciling differences efficiently and accurately. 路Manage cheque payments, including writing, monitoring uncleared items, and reissuing payments. 路Input daily transfers and payments. 路Provide support for the cashier function, including banking preparation and deliveries. 路Liaise with departments to resolve payment discrepancies. 路Produce regular management information and reports for internal and external stakeholders. 路Ensure compliance with client money regulations, data protection, and money laundering standards. 路Actively participate in team meetings and training to enhance skills and provide cover as required.
