We are recruiting on behalf of an established professional services firm based in St Albans, seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Cashier to join their close-knit Accounts team. 聽 Skills & Experience: 路Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a professional services environment. 路Strong understanding of legal accounting procedures and Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR). 路Excellent attention to detail., 路Good interpersonal and communication skills. 路A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to meet tight deadlines. 聽 Key Responsibilities: 路Conduct daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately documented. 路Process payments including CHAPS and BACS, as well as inter-account transfers. 路Monitor client accounts, allocate receipts, and manage cheque transactions. 路Assist with billing and respond to account queries efficiently. 路Ensure full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and internal policies. 路Prepare fee earner reports and provide general support to the team, including during staff absences or holidays. 聽 Benefits: 路Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays 路Bonus scheme 路Life cover 路Private medical insurance 路Pension scheme 路Enhanced maternity and paternity 聽 聽 Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Smart10 Recruitment Group, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
