Position: Sheet Metal Assembly Operative

Hours 07:30am - 16:00pm
Location: St Albans
Proactive are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Assembly Operative in St Albans to start work immediately.
This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design, supply and manufacture of high quality electrical parts.
You will be responsible for picking kit for the production team as well as logging orders, deliveries and returns using in house computers systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a similar position and be able to demonstrate previous Stores knowledge.
Duties and relevant experience:
- Assembly of sheet metal enclosures.
- Use of various hand tools
- Fitting electrical components to chassis plates and external covers.
- Fitting copper busbar systems.
- Ability to read assembly diagrams and drawings
- Assist in the manufacturing process wherever required.
