Reconciliation Accounts Clerk

(based in the office Monday to Friday)
Our client is based in central St Albans and are currently growing their accounts team.
Looking for a Reconciliation Clerk to join their already established team.

Your responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations, raise cheques and initiate transfers
- Reconciling differences and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Monitor cheque payments for uncleared items
- Monitoring of bounced cheques
- Input daily transfers and payments on to relevant banking systems
- Provide backup support to the cashier function including preparation of banking for all client money accounts
- Produce management information - daily, weekly and monthly
- Understanding of client money regulations
Ideal candidate
- Experience of reconciliation ideally 2 years plus
- Experience within the financial services industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player and flexible attitude
- Strong IT Skills - Excel intermediate level
