Reconciliation Accounts Clerk

(based in the office Monday to Friday)

Our client is based in central St Albans and are currently growing their accounts team.

Looking for a Reconciliation Clerk to join their already established team.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, raise cheques and initiate transfers
  • Reconciling differences and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Monitor cheque payments for uncleared items
  • Monitoring of bounced cheques
  • Input daily transfers and payments on to relevant banking systems
  • Provide backup support to the cashier function including preparation of banking for all client money accounts
  • Produce management information - daily, weekly and monthly
  • Understanding of client money regulations

Ideal candidate

  • Experience of reconciliation ideally 2 years plus
  • Experience within the financial services industry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player and flexible attitude
  • Strong IT Skills - Excel intermediate level
